June 2021 was my participation in Dirk Hakze’s art project The Colorfield Performance. Quite a challenge: creating a painting in one day on a 122 x 122 cm panel, using all colors of acrylic paint except black. Weather or no weather.
On my painting day, the weather conditions presented an additional challenge. I left in the morning with driving rain, once I arrived it was lovely and cloudy but warm, in the afternoon the sun came through and it was boiling hot, and at the end of the afternoon we had to leave in a hurry because of a threatening thunderstorm….
