This painting is the result of a walk through the woods around Nunspeet. As always, I took snapshots of certain scenes that caught my eye. So later I selected these and then made my own interpretation of them. The moss-covered “feet” of the trees inspired me to the title of this work.
‘Green Socks’ and ‘Power of Nature’ fit well together, in color, in size and in framing (see photo to the left and right of the window).
