Normally I only paint from my own photographs, but this time I made an exception. When I saw this beautiful photo by Miranda Brouwer of a young deer, I was immediately sold. In this painting, I tried to translate the Bambi-like atmosphere (fairy-like innocence) that is in the photo into my pointillist work. Just keep your hunters away….
