I consider myself lucky to have such a view. How long it lasts time will tell, but it is wonderful to be able to look so far away and see what changes each season. In summer, at least, it means mowing the high-growing grass again and – once properly dried in the sun – haying it. These days it then lies wrapped in agricultural plastic on the land for some time. That always looks a little strange. Those huge black shiny droppings, defecated by the farmer’s agricultural machinery….
