Behind the clouds the sun shines…. Hidden beneath this painting is an earlier work, “Sky,” which was part of the four-part “Elements. In retrospect, I was less happy with it. Therefore, ‘Silver Lining’ is now the new Air. It shows much better that there is much more color hidden in a cloudy sky than you see at first glance.

Modern-pointillist painting in professional quality acrylic paint on 430 grs linen canvas, stretched on a 4cm thick 80x80cm wooden frame. The work is finished with a high-quality acrylic varnish. The painting is specially framed; namely with a black, 2cm thick, tight wooden frame so that the painted sides remain visible.
