Field Road

In the (second deepest) polder Groot-Mijdrecht with otherwise mostly straight roads, this is a pleasant change. The beautiful row of trees accentuates the curves. Walking here you can see the enormous difference in level between the polder and the Veldweg, but also between the ditches left and right of the road. Polder experience at its best! The mighty old poplars have since been replaced by other, younger specimens; they were becoming too dangerous due to falling branches etc.
