Inspired by a fairy-tale scene I saw on a bike ride. That fairy-tale-like quality led me to be a bit more free with the colors in the translation to this painting. By the way, this work was painted with a so-called cat tongue brush. That’s a rounded flat brush instead of the straight flat brush I normally use, which gives you round surfaces instead of square ones.
