Summer Stroll

No, I am not faster than my shadow – I needed about 10 sessions for this painting – but it is a subject that continues to fascinate me. The great difference in effect that sunlight and shadow have on the same background continues to amaze me and continues to invite me to paint these kinds of scenes. In short: I am far from done with the subject of shadow.
