Limited Edition Art Prints, or giclées, can be an attractive alternative to the original painting as it may have already been sold. The museum quality art prints are limited in edition (maximum 25 copies) and are personally numbered and signed by me. So unique ones. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity.
You can have such a high quality paper and printer, if the original is poorly digitized you will never get a really high quality. That is why my original paintings are digitized by a professional photo studio. Absolute control over exposure, colour, contrast, sharpness, etc. are crucial for the highest possible quality. The result of the digitization is a very large digital file of which in principle a print in the same size as the original could be printed. razor sharp!
My giclées are printed at the same studio. Because they have also digitized the original, they know exactly how to coordinate recording and printing. It is printed on a heavy quality acid-free Hahnemühle paper in particularly lightfast inks. Take a look at an ordinary print, and with or without a magnifying glass you will quickly see the regular pattern of the grid dots of the 4 print runs: cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Not with a good giclée print. With a giclée, no grid is used, rather the colors are sprayed onto the paper in tiny drops of ink. Razor-sharp and – because no regular grid is used – without moiré.
The limited edition giclée prints from the webshop are optionally supplied with or without passe-partout and frame. The giclée prints are available in three different sizes, as well as the accompanying frames. With the frames you can choose between a black washed or natural oak version. Whatever you choose; each giclée is numbered and signed by me and provided with a certificate of authenticity. And securely packaged and shipped of course.
